Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10 RJ

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74

This album has everything u can expect from Portuguese black metal by the melancholic riffs and the vocals it self plus the drums adds the heaviness of the album and the name of the album speaks for it too. macabr0ohxt666

Dysylumn has quickly climbed to the top of my favourite Metal bands. I thought "Occultation" was a genius piece of work but "Cosmogonie"'s sheer brilliance and length is by no means a fair comparison. This is a monument to French BM and to Metal, Un chef d'oeuvre remarquable, pertinent, qui saura resister au temps et aux modes. Deadpanist
